In todays world, there are a lot of people in the canine business.  There also is no real standard for who can be a canine trainer. This is where we as professionals need to come together, and help improve the field as a whole. Since 1996 I have been involved in training working canines, in police, search & rescue, arson and tracking. It is my opinion that there is a lack of good qualified professionals in this field. The demand for canines is increasing, and the qualified trainers are decreasing.
